I currently manage and coordinate a marketing department/in-house agency through media buying, advertising planning, budget maintenance, report analysis and writing, copywriting editing/proofing, and personnel management with direct line to the Marketing Director and Public Relations Manager. I am also responsible for the competitive bidding and negotiating of all projects: advertising mediums (newspaper, television, radio, outdoor, theatre, etc.) printed materials (brochures, display ads, classified ads, flyers, postcards/direct mail pieces, informational catalogs/pamphlets, etc.), contracted personnel (copywriters, script writers, video production, and web developers) and a multitude of promotional products in an agency atmosphere. I assist the Director of Marketing, Public Relations Manager, and other staff members on all advertising/marketing related projects and events. The Rio Salado College Marketing department consists of: advertising, public relations, and sales divisions. Furthermore, I serve on several college committees related to different projects throughout the year.
